Opening Art Reception-Animals by artist Michelle Baker

Michelle Baker is best known for her colorful, abstract multi-canvas paintings. This show, Animals, is a departure from her abstract color-field work, yet integrates the vibrancy and composition of it.

In addition to being a visual artist, Ms. Baker is an author and photographer. Her play, ‘Sole Survivors’, toured Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City and Albuquerque, NM. She is the author of 'The Canoe', a lyrical work of fiction. Ms. Baker’s paintings are abstract and expressive, often spanning multiple canvasses. Her work is held in private and corporate collections.
