About the Event
Kathryn “Ka” June is a painter, costume designer, and performing artist raised in West Texas, and currently residing in Asheville, NC.
She is primarily self-taught, and her former work in the healing arts is strongly influential in her craft. Her love for healing and beauty is
the foundation of her art. She has performed and exhibited worldwide, and her work has been featured in numerous publications, including Paris Vogue, US Elle, Dark Beauty, Mirrior magazines, and Rolling Stone online mag.
Her work has been on display at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Renwick Gallery, and exhibited in the Van Wereldculturen Museums.
Ka has worked from her River Arts District studio in the Cotton Mill Studios
Building (studio F) since 2017.
